Longhorns announce Michael Schwab as Head Coach
The Lethbridge Longhorns have named Michael Schwab as the 3rd Head Coach in its history. Michael has been a part of the program since its inception as an assistant coach and worked behind the scenes to help create the program after his playing career at Prairie Baseball Academy was over. Michael is entering his 6th year as a coach with experience coaching the Bantam AAA team for the past four summers alongside the Longhorns. Michael has committed his life after his playing career to passing on the knowledge and lessons baseball has taught him, making him the perfect choice to continue to build and develop the program for the Lethbridge and area community.
Lethbridge Bulls President/CEO Kevin Kvame commented, “Michael has been a strong and dedicated coach with our organization for several years and has earned the opportunity to lead the Longhorns into their next chapter. He brings a strong work ethic and genuine desire to teach youth how to excel in baseball and life.”
“Michael will develop a great rapport with the players who are truly in the program to learn and challenge themselves to reach the next level.”
